Effective, compassionate therapy for life's hardest moments
As both an expert licensed therapist and a "wounded healer", I bring professional expertise combined with full authenticity and empathy to the therapeutic relationship with my clients. I work with children, teens, adults and couples with specific expertise in trauma, anxiety, depression and life transitions. I affirm all in how they identify as their true selves. Relationship is core to an effective change process, and I combine heart with science using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy to support change through life's hardest moments.
In addition to my clinical work, I have an extensive career as a COO and CEO leading regional premier behavioral health companies. I also am a community volunteer, chairing and serving on many nonprofit Boards. In my Maple Valley community, I co-founded the Tahoma Behavioral Health Collective in response to a contagion of community suicides. TBHC brings together the school district, city and behavioral health providers to employ ongoing community programs and supports for suicide prevention and wellness services.
